Neutrogena MicroDermabrasion System, $22.99 ( shop here )
This comes in a box with the machine and its puffs. The puffs are blue and slightly grainy on one side. The other side sticks to the machine like velcro does. There are two settings to get it to vibrate.
Even more effective than professional microdermabrasion, Microdermabrasion System is a simple, convenient at-home system that features single-use puffs and the microdermabrasion applicator. Each puff is pre-dosed with ultra-fine crystals and mild purifiers for the perfect degree of gentle exfoliation. What’s more, the massaging micro-vibrations boost surface cell turnover for firmer, younger-looking skin.

This is basically a microdermabrasion system for you at home. It is supposedly a tool like a cleansing brush but with removable disks that you wet and stick on the machine. I really was skeptical about this product because I always thought this was way too harsh for my skin. I have normally sensitive skin. I started off with using this 1x a week. Okay, so the first time I used this is amazed me! My skin felt smoother and so so soft. The texture was about the same. It did not irritate the skin at all. I used this for one month only 1x a week. Then I started using this 2x a week. This is where it got good and bad real quick. My skin looked better and smoother. Makeup sat so well on my face that it was so flawless. But…..my skin needed way more hydration to the point where I did not know what to hydrate it with to keep it from peeling. I have combo skin so I have dealt with dry patches and such, but this was like a snake’s skin shedding. I could not put anything on my skin…no foundation, not even concealer, even certain lotions would flake and cake on. I had to stick to a sunscreen and loads of moisturizer. I also drank more water becasue i thought that would help my skin retain moisture from within. After this month, I know am back to 1x a week becasue I really couldn’t handle all the dry peeling of my skin. But….I did repurchase the disks you place on the machine. It is worth buying because it does do what it claims..just be careful and start out with less times a week. It is always better to start off little and slow.
